AAA Fair Credit Foundation (FCF) invites you to become partners with us to ensure all Americans have the skills, resources, and capability necessary to achieve their financial goals. By partnering with FCF, you can transform the financial futures of those closest to you and your community. FCF offers unique programs and services to help everyone achieve financial stability. FCF is supported primarily by generous corporate and individual donations, sponsorships and grants. Your tax-deductible contribution will allow more people to improve their long-term financial stability.

Every free, confidential counseling session costs money to provide — whether delivered in person, by telephone or online. And with the current economic climate, demand for our services continues to grow. That’s why a contribution to FCF is such a wise investment. Your donation will provide free counseling to more families in need, enabling them to build a secure future — which helps ensure the viability of our community and nation as a whole.

For every $500 contributed, FCF:

• Provided 10 free personal financial counseling sessions
• Helped two families maintain their home through foreclosure prevention assistance
• Empowered 50 individuals through financial management education training

Costs associated to provide a Personal Financial Counseling session

      - Salary: 1.5 hours @ $20/hour = $30
      - Emp. Benefits: 1.5 hours @ 35% of Salary = $15.85
      - Facilities: $200/person/month (172 hours) = $1.75
      - Office Material/Computers/Utilities: $150/person/month (172 hours) = $1.15
      - Administration/Scheduling: 8 minutes @ $12 hour = $1.60
      - Printing/Mailing/Administration: $2.00
      - Insurance/Bonding/Licensing: $10/client
      TOTAL COST: $62.35

As you can see the cost for providing a 90 minute personal financial counseling session costs over $60 and the demand for our services continues to increase. Financial Institutions who were once major contributors to our services have drastically reduced their financial contributions. Your donation will allow us to provide free counseling and education programs to more individuals and couples in need and will help create a brighter financial future in the fight against poverty and debt.

• $3,250 = 50 hours of counseling
• $1,300 = 20 hours of counseling
• $520 = 8 hours of counseling
• $260 = 4 hours of counseling
• $65 = 1 hour of counseling

Our workload has grown in the past four years: Total one-on-one financial counseling sessions conducted for individuals or couples:

• Significantly improved credit profiles.
• Lower borrowing costs and increased access to financial products and services.
• Significantly fewer delinquent accounts.
• Decrease in the total number of overlimit bankcard accounts.
• Improvement in overall health.

To ensure the continued success of UIDAN, we need to raise the necessary funds to support the operations and IDA match dollars. Your investment in asset-budiling development acts as an economic multiplier for low-income participants which leverages matching funds from other donors and will allow us to show local support to other public and private funders thereby leveraging additional funds.

Your gift will help change the life of an UIDAN Saver like Laurie, a 29 year old single mother of two daughters who works for an anti-poverty agency in Salt Lake. She was on section 8 housing which cost Salt Lake County Housing $240/month. She was on FSS and saved in an IDA account, did 200 hours of sweat equity for a Habitat for Humanity home in Salt Lake County and qualified for a Home Start Loan. Your financial contribution will help make it possible for low-income families to build the financial assets they need to achieve the American Dream.
