An ISO 9001:2000 Registered Organization

AAA Fair Credit Foundation (FCF) has gone to great lengths to ensure its clientele, both consumers and creditors alike, receive quality customer service for all of their programs and services. FCF became an official ISO 9001:2000 registered organization in August, 2001. Unlike other accreditation services that are recognized only in the United States and Canada, ISO 9000 is recognized and accepted worldwide.

The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an organization made up of members from nearly every country in the world. One of the many standards that this organization releases is ISO 9001:2000. The ISO standards were developed so that companies in all industries, product or service related, could benefit from the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS).

Registration to the ISO 9000 family of standards is not a simple undertaking. Not only did FCF undergo a rigorous registration audit of our entire QMS by an accredited independent third party auditing agency, we continue to be audited annually. Every five years the ISO 9000 standard is reviewed and updated as necessary. This begins the registration process anew, thereby necessitating the continuous auditing of our QMS.

Achieving registration to the ISO 9000 family of standards signifies that we have implemented and effectively maintain a Quality Management System focused on customer satisfaction, and the continuous improvement of our programs and services.
